THE 'LANGUAGE OF THE STARS' EXPLAINED

All that exists is ENERGY. The Earth, the Sun, the Sky, the Sea… even our thoughts and actions are made-up of living vibrant energy. Then as time moves on so too does this vast pattern of universal energy move and change. Mankind has always recognized the special relationship between these vast energy patterns in the heavens and the events that affect human activity on Earth. Indeed, Man has always sought to examine and classify these unique happenings in a real attempt to gain understanding and purpose to his existence. Out of this quest for knowledge an ancient yet profound language of thought was seeded and has taken root. Today, that special language is known as Astrology.
Possibly no other topic is more maligned, misinterpreted or less understood than astrology. Yet, ‘true’ astrology has as much (if not more) relevance for us today than it had for our forefathers in days gone by. Elevated reason dictates that we are all products of the same universal language, regardless of race, creed, color or religion. If we were only able to demonstrate this to others in a clear and positive way, through all the levels of our being, then perhaps a true ‘brotherhood of Man’ would begin to become more of a reality. The ‘Language of the Stars’ in its most profound and inspired form can do this. All we essentially need is the will to overcome our old prejudices and the patience to apply ourselves to our research with an open, yet scientific mind.
Universal Man's evolution towards perfection is possibly the main objective to all life. True astrology is the solid foundation upon which we may build in order to achieve this. This is the main challenge that the ‘Language of the Stars’ offers Mankind today. Either it is utter superstition (as we arc regularly told by those who have rarely studied it) or else it is a unique, wise and timeless system of thought. Such a system can have a profound effect on the quality, purpose and meaning of our existence. That is, if we can approach it from an informed and insightful viewpoint.

DEFINITIONS
Before learning the Language of the Stars we should perhaps propose a few introductory definitions to clarify what astrology is and what astrology is not. True Astrology is much misunderstood by the public at large and many misconceptions prevail. This misunderstanding has not been helped by the countless crackpots, attention-seekers, money-grabbers, cultists, charlatans and ignorant critics who have bedeviled its existence since the beginning of time. Perhaps the following definitions will establish a foundation of thought upon which we can all build...
1) Astrology is a profound age-old Language of the Stars. It pre-dates all known person-centered sciences and is as valuable today as it ever was in relating an individual to themselves and to the whole of Creation in general.
2) Astrology is not fortune-telling or prediction. Instead it is a lens through which a universal knowledge of life expression may be viewed. It is in essence a broad map of our soul's journey and indicates the cycles, patterns and potentials inherent within us in our present life span, underlying also our particular role in the unfolding plan of the Cosmos.
3) Astrology is not a religion, faith or belief system, which requires the observer to suspend their critical faculties or accept any part of its philosophy without question. It is to be worked with and will respond positively to any constructive, unbiased and reasonable questions asked of it.
4) Astrology is not a psychic or mediumistic art, which requires otherworldly contacts for its wisdom. Instead, the understandings of astrology are derived from countless centuries of patient, scientific observation, constructing into our awareness the unique relationship between the events or psychological attitudes on Earth and the movements of the planetary energies in the heavens.
(Although it is true to say that, after many years of objective study and personal research, astrologers do tend to allow their intuitive faculties to guide them on certain occasions. But this is no different to crime-fighters, psychologists or scientists who get a ‘hunch’ based upon a scientifically founded awareness of repeatable pattern in human behavior. However, instinctual awareness can only be born after years of thoroughly ingesting the Language of the Stars through scientifically based research, investigation and practice.)
5) The Astrologer is not priest, guru of master of arcane knowledge, with an all-seeing knowledge of life. Rather, the Astrologer's role should be seen as a counseling partner, or catalyst, drawing out from an individual their own solutions to life problems in a way that does not interfere, conflict or contradict with the natural laws of the universe.
6) Astrology is a system by which we see our ‘true self’ more clearly and is a means that will make us appreciate, perhaps for the first time, that there is purpose, order and reason to our existence in the great scheme of things.
7) Finally, Astrology more accurately describes the 'inner' world of personal existence and experience than any other thought system accessible to Man, allowing us to better understand ourselves, others and the energy cycles that direct us all in a greater scheme of things.
