"The WISE WRINKLY" is not a person but a personification of the art and science of astrology itself! With age (the old are often defined by the word "wrinkly") there hopefully comes wisdom. How natural it is therefore to describe astrology ~ an ancient process of self-understanding lasted thousands of years ~ as both “wise” and “wrinkly”.
 
“The Wise Wrinkly” is an astrological counseling service, established by award-winning animator, teacher & author, Tony White. Tony has been a life-long student of the more transformative side of astrology after encountering a seemingly miraculous event in his own life when the amazing Irish herbalist/astrologer, Samuel H. Weir effectively saved his mother’s life when doctors had effectively given up on her! So inspired by the wise man’s diagnosis and treatment of his mother through natural herbs and astrological understanding that Tony studied for two and a half years with his mother’s healer. In tribute to the great man’s work, he created the iconic herbalist/astrologer that is used on this website’s homepage.

By establishing “The WISE WRINKLY”, Tony seeks to give back to the world the transformative knowledge and the wisdom that was given him at an early age ~ the result of which led him to the incredible life he ultimately experienced in the world of animation. Tony ~ now a wrinkly in his own right ~ fundamentally believes that astrology still has an incredibly important role to play for us all in an age where "individuality", "diversity" and "personal responsibility" is becoming increasingly important. To "know ourselves" is the most cherished gift we can be given ~ for if we can know ourselves well then we will surely make better life decisions for ourselves! The wisdom of person-centered astrology can give us that.
